If you heard Jerry Agar on WGN Radio 720 talk about this event, you had to be there. I'm not sure, but I think there was about 1,400 people that rode the 42 or so miles.
It's not just the ride that makes this a special event. There are so many great people to chat with, and if you are a bike lover, there are so many cool bikes for you to drool over.
The highlight comes at the end when you get to hear from some of the Kids and Parents that you can make an impact on. Doesn't matter to them if you just got to ride and pay a small registration fee, or if you were one of the great people that raised much more than my piddly donation.
Don't quote me but if I heard correctly, 1,400 riders and over 300 thousand $$$ for some great kids!
